Rock Garden of Chandigarh was build by a road inspector Nek Chand in 1958. Since that year, he kept continued the construction of rock garden for up to 18 years later single hand. He was using mere abandoned objects from masonry and garbage collected from local dump.
In 18 years, from trashes he collected, he made 12 acres unique garden filled with statues, buildings and walkways.
