New Jersey Shark, 7th Deadliest Man Eater
New Jersey shark is a name given to a man-eating shark tragedy happened in 1916 in New Jersey. First victim of the attack was Charles Vansant. The shark ripped Charles arteries and stripped off one of Charles legs like mad. Charles dead on the way off the hospital. 5 days later, same shark attacked another Charles. this time was Charles bruder. similar to the first attack, the shark ripped off bruder's legs and dragged his remain upper body to the shore for people to see. One witness fainted when she witnessed the brutality.


Next attack from the same shark happened in July 12th. this time,  The shark attacked an 11 years old boy who was swimming in a creek near Matawan .This little body was rescued by Stanley Fisher  but unfortunately the body found lifeless because the boy already drank too much water and had lost too much blood because the attack.

The tragedy was ended in July 14th after one man captured a young female great white shark in Raritan Bay of the Matawan creek. After captured, the fisher dissected the shark stomach and found human remains inside. The tragedy inspired Peter Benchley to write a novel title Jaws afterward and later on, the novel inspired Steven Spielberg to direct a movie with a same title.
