Pet is a special animal that God designed to live closer to our life. We allow them to wander inside the house, they can be a lifesaver, and they can be a good listener when no one wants to listen to us. Different from regular pets on the face of the planet, little animals or species I am going to give you here are smaller, cuter and 2 of them have won Guinness World’s of Record for their unique appearance. 6 species I am going to share in the post is Smallest Chameleon, Smallest Hamster, Smallest Cat, Smallest dog, Smallest Fish and Smallest snake. This is 6 Smallest pets in the world

Our First animal on the smallest list is a species that only can be found in Madagascar.

6. World’s littlest chameleon 























Our first species has Binomial’s name Brookesia Minima. Their native home is in north and west coast of Madagascar. The smallest Chamaeleonidae in the world is also called Dwarf Chameleon, Minute Leaf Chameleon, Pygmy Leaf Chameleon, Nosy Be Pygmy Leaf Chameleon, Tiny Ground Chameleon and Madagascan Dwarf Chameleon. In Average, the length of the dwarf chameleon is mere 0.50 inch.

5. World’s Smallest Hamster























This small hamster has a name Peewee. The hamster is as big as 50 cents coin and his total weight is mere 1 ounce or might be less. On his early life, Peewee is same as other regular hamster. On first week and 2 after his born, peewee grew bigger. After 3 weeks, peewee stopped growing.

4. World’s smallest cat























The cat’s owner stayed in Illinois. The cat weight is mere 3 kg. This little cat won Guinness World record as the world’s smallest cat in 2004.


3. World’s Smallest Fish























 The only fish in this list has binomial name Paedocypris Progenetica from the family of Gourami. His native home is in Sumatra Island In Indonesia. It has become renowned as the smallest (non-microscopic) fish on earth since January 2006. This little fish size is 7.9 mm or 0.3 inches.

2. World’s Smallest Snake


















The littlest Snake in the world is a native species of Caribbean Island. The snake has binomial name Leptotyphlops Carlae. When the snake stretches, his total length is mere 4 inches.

The littlest dog is called Ducky. His owner is in Massachusetts, USA. Ducky is a latest smallest dog in the world according to Guinness World replaced latest smallest dog on earth (Yorkshire terrier). This cute dog is 4,9 inches tall or 12,4 cm.
